The Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) requires that agencies ensure that information collected from the public minimizes burden, eliminates duplication, and maximizes practical utility. Along these lines, the internship involves reviewing new statues to determine information collection requirements and workload needs, reviewing new statutes and regulations to ensure that information collection requests are properly reported and cleared, and determining if any information collection activities require a privacy impact assessment.
