Congratulations to Yahya Thabit, 3L, who just won the Joseph L. Rauh, Jr. Top Clinic Performer Scholarship for his work in the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. The full tuition scholarship is awarded to the rising third-year student who earned the top grade in clinic and is deemed a top performer. Thabit says, "I am humbled and sincerely grateful to receive this award. I would like to thank Professor Campbell and Professor Sthanki for their endorsement. Through the tireless dedication of professors and students, the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic continues to stand up for and defend some of the most disenfranchised members of society. The Clinic provides zealous legal representation by advocating on behalf of marginalized individuals and detainees in removal proceedings that could not otherwise afford paying for legal counsel. It will always be my obligation and a privilege to serve those in need."

Thabit also interned this past summer with The Honorable Senior Judge Arthur Burnett, Sr. Read, "Yahya Thabit, 3L, Summer Intern with Judge Burnett at the NAADPC.”
