Prof. Matt FraidinAccording to research presented by journalist Richie Bernardo, the District of Columbia has earned the exceedingly dubious distinction of having the nation's highest percentage of under-privileged children.  DC ranks first in single parent families, tied for first in homeless children and third in the US in infant mortality.

In his article for Wallet Hub, Bernardo interviewed child welfare experts across the country - and for DC, he interviewed UDC Law Professor Matt Fraidin (left) on what can be done to help DC's kids.

Read the article and Prof. Fraidin's recommendations on WalletHub.
