NY Times Story on Dan Arshack, '83, Attorney for Indian Diplomat in NYC

Eagle eyed alum, Andy Von Salis, '82 recognized the name of Daniel Arshack, '83 in a New York Times story about his work to keep Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade out of jail.  As perhaps hundreds of millions of American and Indians now know, Khobragade was arrested on charges of visa fraud and making false statements in connection with her employment of a domestic worker.  While repercussions still roil US/India relations, the international incident could have been worse - at least in the eyes of those sympathetic to the Indian diplomat - but for the diplomatic lawyering of Arshack which kept her out of jail and allowed her to return to India.
