Hello to All!
Every once in a while, we have a very special day at the School of Law and I wanted to share the chance to smile with you. This week, Alex Campos, our mail/ Xerox staffer (and part time UDC student!!) became a US citizen.  When a colleague sent a note around congratulating him, Alex wrote the note below.  We were all so touched.  We celebrated the next day with him, complete with cake, flags and John Phillips Souza on the boom box!!  Have a great weekend!!

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for the well wishes. Today I had the honor and privilege of becoming a Citizen of one the greatest nations of the world, the United States of America, regardless of any of problems we might be facing. This country, now my country also, has given me a myriad of opportunities for a better quality of life. I do not take it for granted - I am deeply grateful! As I was being sworn-in and repeated the Pledge of Allegiance, I stood in pride with a high sense of gratitude, humility, and hope. I am thankful to be here. Blessing to all!!!!
