Congratulations to Dennis Vachon '86 who will become the new Strafford County Registrar of Deeds in New Hampshire.

Vachon, a Democrat and resident of Strafford, told Foster’s Daily Democrat he was running for the post because of his long record of public service, said the position fits well with his background as an attorney and licensed real estate broker.

"My legal experience will be especially helpful at the registry, which oversees the county’s land records office where deeds, mortgages and plans are filed.”

In a statement issued by Vachon, his background was explained as providing solid experience for the position.
