Our congratulations to Chris Pascual, '19, who has been granted a 2020 Charles F.C. Ruff Fellowship!  Chris will work for one year at the Office of the Attorney General's Public Advocacy Division.

Many previous fellows have gone on to become full-time attorneys at OAG after their fellowship.

Chris Pascual, '19, is one of 15 recent law graduates awarded a 2020 Ruff Fellowship

The Ruff Fellowship program is named in memory of Charles F.C. Ruff, a former professor at UDC Law's predecessor law school, the Antioch School of Law.  Later he served as the District of Columbia’s Corporation Counsel—the position now known as Attorney General—from 1995 to 1997. Ruff served as White House Counsel to President Bill Clinton after his service as Corporation Counsel, and Attorney General Racine worked under him as an Associate White House Counsel. Ruff also served as the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia and taught at area law schools. He passed away in 2000.
