Alumna Nina Ginsberg, '78, right, Photo of Nina Ginsbergwho was recently sworn in as the President Elect of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, was one of four experts on the nationally syndicated National Public Radio Show "1A" who discussed the pros and cons of extending or eliminating statutes of limitations when it comes to reporting sex offenses, particularly when the victims were children at the time.

As a defense attorney, Ginsberg expertly - but sensitively - explained the challenges of defending against decades old charges and made the important point that many convicted sex offenders have later been pardoned when evidence surfaced that exonerated them.
