Profile:
Ms. Bauman earned a B.A., cum laude, from Bryn Mawr College; M.A. from University of Chicago; and J.D. from Cornell Law School. She came to Washington, D.C. as a supervising attorney with a clinical law program, after working in legal services in upstate New York. At Cornell, she won the Seymour Herzog Memorial Prize for her public interest work. Ms. Bauman also has extensive professional pro bono experience with the ABA and with the Virginia Poverty Law Center. She is active in local and national legal recruitment organizations and is the Mid-Atlantic School Regional Coordinatior for NALP. She is also an adult education teacher at Adas Israel.
