Application Overview

General Instructions

You are encouraged to apply on-line using the UDC-DCSL Electronic Application (EApp) on the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) website; you must create an online account with LSAC and register for LSAC's Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) in order to use this service.* You may also download our application or request a printed catalog and application and submit your completed application by mail.

Admission to UDC-DCSL is for the fall semester only. Applicants should file their applications as early as possible, but no later than March 15th, unless otherwise notified by the Office of Admission. All supporting documents should be submitted no later than June 1.

Each applicant must submit the following to the UDC-DCSL Office of Admission:

Applications are not reviewed until all required materials have been received; however, you need not wait until you have taken the LSAT and/or received your score to submit your application. If you have registered for the LSAT, the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) provided you with an Account Number. You should include your LSAC Account Number on your application.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure the required materials reach the Office of Admission.

Please visit Admission Information if you would like more information about the required materials.

Application Fee Waiver

In an effort to attract high caliber students without regard to socio-economic background, UDC-DCSL makes available an application fee waiver for applicants who demonstrate extreme financial need. An applicant who wishes to be considered for a waiver should include a request letter with the application materials. A fee waiver application will then be forwarded to you. Because the application fee is waived for applicants who apply on-line via the LSAC's UDC-DCSL EApp through January 15, persons intending to apply for a waiver should consider applying on-line.
