Book List for First-Year Courses Fall 2013

The following chart lists the required books for first-year courses at the David A. Clarke School of Law. The School of Law does not require students to purchase new textbooks if they can obtain less expensive or used copies of the required editions. Sources for purchasing used textbooks in-person include other law students, the University of the District of Columbia Follet Bookstore and Washington Law Books. On-line sources include Amazon.com, Half.com, LawBooksForLess.com, BarristerBooks.com, and others. If you purchase your books from another source, be sure that you have purchased the correct edition as specified by the professor.

Note: If you will be using a financial aid voucher to purchase your books, you must purchase them in the UDC Follet Bookstore.
