On October 18, 2012, Jacqueline Patterson, NAACP Director of Environmental and Climate Justice, gave a presentation on climate change and its effect on African American communities titled, "Communities of Color - In the Vice Between Drivers and Impact of Climate Change." She also spoke about several solutions that communities are beginning to implement and how citizens can play a role in turning the tide.The event was sponsored by the Environmental Law Society and the Black Law Student Association.
