UDC-DCSL Receives 4 Top-Ten Rankings in Princeton Review

UNIVERSITY OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA DAVID A. CLARKE SCHOOL OF LAW FEATURED IN THE PRINCETON REVIEW'S "THE BEST 168 LAW SCHOOLS: 2013 EDITION"

Washington, D.C., November 1, 2013 – The Princeton Review released the 2013 edition of its guide to law school titled, "The Best 168 Law Schools." According to the Princeton Review, the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law earned top ten rankings in four categories:

  • 1st for "Most Chosen by Older Students"
  • 2nd for "Most Diverse Faculty"
  • 4th for "Best Environment for Minority Students"
  • 6th for "Most Liberal Students"

UDC-DCSL's four top ten rankings tied for third most top ten rankings in the nation - behind Stanford and the University of Virginia law schools, which each earned five. UDC-DCSL is tied with the University of Chicago, the University of California at Berkeley, Northwestern University and the University of Pennsylvania.

According to the Princeton Review, "The 2013 Edition of The Best 168 Law Schools surveyed more than 18,000 students at 168 law schools, in addition to collecting data from school administrators, to create 11 ranking lists."
