Daniel Manville '82, an Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Law and Director of the MSU Civil Rights Clinic, was quoted in Michigan News on his client making phone calls from prison to family and friends in Jordan and Romania.

A federal jury determined that the state Department of Corrections had no justification for refusing to allow Manville's client to make international phone calls.

"It’s an important constitutional right – people should be able to call their family,” attorney Daniel Manville said by telephone.
