Maryland Delegate Keiffer Mitchell (D-Baltimore), '94, was quoted in The Baltimore Sun criticizing the Baltimore school system after an audit called attention to a lack of oversight on school spending.

"There needs to be accountability in the school system," said Del. Keiffer Mitchell, a Baltimore Democrat whose two children attend city schools. "It's a folly to continue going down this road."

"When the school system comes down to the Annapolis General Assembly to look for the block grant funds, this won't help," Mitchell said.
