Tim Gresback '87 Named Idaho's Trial Lawyer of the Year

Tim Gresback '87 was named Idaho's 2012 Trial Lawyer of the Year and was presented with the James J. May Award. Gresback was honored for his dedication to the practice of law, his active community involvement, and his commitment to the preservation of the civil justice system.

Gresback clerked for Idaho Supreme Court Justice Stephen Bistline. He is a Past President of ITLA (2010-2011) as well as the Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Gresback also taught trial advocacy at the University of Idaho College of Law for six years. He is also a solo practitioner in Moscow, ID who specializes in personal injury law.

The prestigious award was presented to Gresback at the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association's 40h annual meeting on June 29. ITLA is a statewide voluntary bar association dedicated to justice for all Idahoans, representation of consumers, and the improvement of the administration of justice. The award is named after ITLA's founding member and first president; retired Fifth District Judge James May.
