Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Kilbride, ’81, swore in 19 new attorneys who will be admitted to practice in Illinois. The ceremony took place in Illinois' Third District Appellate Court Building in Ottawa.

From The Pekin Daily Times: "The new attorneys are among 608 men and women who were certified as candidates to take the attorney’s oath throughout the state’s five Supreme Court judicial districts.

All of the candidates have passed the Illinois State Bar Examination, a required ethics examination and were certified by the high court’s Committee on Character and Fitness.
