Dean Broderick at White House Forum on the State of Civil Legal Assistance

On April 17, 2012, Dean Broderick attended the White House Forum on the State of Civil Legal Assistance, presented by The White House and the Legal Services Corporation. The forum looked at the critical role of civil legal assistance for the poor in fulfilling the promise of "justice for all,”’ and in maintaining America’s commitment to the rule of law.

President Obama addressed the group of local and national leaders in poverty law and access to justice. Other speakers included Jim Sandman, President of the Legal Services Corporation; Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson III, President of the ABA; Harold Koh, Legal Counsel to the U.S. State Department and 19th Rauh Lecturer; Martha Minow, Dean of Harvard Law School; Will Gun, General Counsel for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
