Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas L. Kilbride, '81, and 3rd Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Ann Callis have announced that still and video cameras will be allowed in court proceedings in Madison County, IL.

"I congratulate Chief Judge Callis for moving her circuit forward in this experimental program," Kilbride said. He noted Madison County is close to St. Louis area television stations, which have experience recording court functions in Missouri, where cameras already are allowed in courtrooms.
