Wade Henderson, President and CEO of The Leadership Conference and the Joseph L. Rauh, Jr. Chair of Public Interest Law, was quoted in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on a recent Department of Education report that paints an unsettling picture of an education system in which poor and minority students are often on the losing end of discipline, achievement and resources.
"Instead of creating equal opportunities for all of our students to thrive, too many schools are still stuck in an educational caste system," says Prof. Henderson.
