Dean Katherine S. Broderick was quoted in The National Law Journal on the diversity of legal experience in President Obama's judicial picks. Dean Broderick said the recent crop of judges represents a "new day" for the bench. "We are seeing a flowering of opportunities for a broader group of talented people," she said. "There are some terrific prosecutors on the bench, but I think a much broader set of backgrounds is critical," Broderick said. "It changes the conversation."
