Katherine J. Jones, '85, was recognized by Maryland Legal Aid, its Board of Directors, and the Centennial Celebration Committee as one of their 100 Champions of Human Rights and Justice. Awards were given to individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions of their time, talent, and treasure, or have become emerging leaders in supporting the mission and vision of Maryland Legal Aid in serving low-income clients in areas such as housing, child advocacy, and economic and income support.
