Tom Devine, Government Accountability Project Legal Director and '80 alum, was quoted in Joe Davidson's column for The Washington Post. Tom Devine is representing Christian Sanchez, a Border Patrol agent who was punished when he refused to take overtime pay for no work. Devine is quoted in The Washington Post saying that passage of the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act would give Sanchez "a fighting chance" at combating retaliation for reporting on government waste, fraud, and abuse.
