Minnesota will experience a government shutdown on July 1st if a budget deal is not struck between the Minnesota Legislature and Governor Dayton. Jon Pratt, ’77 alum and Executive Director of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, will hold a free emergency briefing tomorrow to provide nonprofit organizations with updates on the status of budget negotiations, handling emergency decisions and communications about service reductions and layoffs, and managing nonprofit finances during a shutdown.
