Caroline Smith DeWaal, '85 Alum, Discusses Food Safety on CSPAN

Caroline Smith DeWaal, '85 Alum and Director of Food Safety at the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), was interviewed on CSPAN on June 8, 2011 discussing food safety, Germany's E. coli outbreak, the evolution and different strains of E. coli, and what government and consumers can do to monitor and track contamination outbreaks. Watch the video below:



Caroline Smith DeWaal was also featured in USA Today on food-borne illness outbreaks and on PBS' Newshour on the spread of E. coli.
