Dean Broderick was labeled a legal heavyweight in the March 28, 2011 The National Law Journal in an article on the confirmation of Irv Nathan as D.C. Attorney General. "Shelley Broderick testified that Nathan offered 'prodigious intellect,' excellent multitasking skills and an ability to 'lead diverse and opinionated people toward the greater good.'" On May 4, the D.C. Council voted unanimously to confirm Irv Nathan as D.C. Attorney General.
