Mike Ewall, '11, Hits the Ground Running

Within a workday after graduating, Mike Ewall, '11 alumnus and Co-Director of the Energy Justice Network, was quoted in The Cleveland Plain Dealer in opposition to a proposed $180 million waste-to-energy and recycling facility in Cleveland, OH that would gasify trash. Ewall explains that the proposal to gasify trash does not actually reduce pollutants; it merely transfers toxins into the air and into solid waste. Read the full story here.
