Congratulations to Shaun Allende and Shannon Hill for placing SECOND IN THE COUNTRY in the American Bar Association’s National Client Counseling Competition! After winning the Regional Competition, Shaun and Shannon travelled to Waco, Texas and competed in the National Competition. Ultimately, the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law beat 135 teams from 92 schools across the country!!!
Congratulations to Shaun and Shannon. This is a great accomplishment. I am also extending the complements to Dean Annamaria Steward for starting the Oral Advocacy Team in 2008, of which I was pioneer member. The experience was very valuable to me and UDC-DCSL is forever in my heart! Again, congratulations to Shaun and Shannon; you made us proud! Mazi, class of 2009.(February 2009).
