The event, held at the Dance Institute of Washington, drew over 100 guests and raised money for BLSA’s programs throughout the year, including regional mock trial competitions, the alumni jazz brunch, and “Know Your Rights” training for D.C. Public Schools.

The 2nd Annual Taste of Black DC also featured music and poetry from local artists, and attendees received a goodie bag filled with donated items from local organizations and UDC Law as well as a Taste of Black DC Business Directory.

BLSA is not only focused on developing social engineers, but building community ties.”
