Washington, DC -  The UDC David A. Clarke School of Law has trained whistleblower protection attorneys for decades through its whistleblower protection legal clinic at the Government Accountability Project (GAP.) Clients range from climate scientists to national security professionals, both in and outside of government employ.  For information on the GAP clinic, click HERE.

Clinic Director Tom Devine, '80, GAPs founding and current Legal Director, was quoted in the Washington Post's Federal Insider column by Joe Davidson on March 22 HERE.

And Tom's former clinic student Billie Gard, '86, herself a whistleblower and former GAP client, was quoted in Davidson's column today regarding her victory for client, Sandra Black, an employee-concerns manager who was illegally fired for reporting safety violations at the Savannah River nuclear storage facility in South Carolina.

Devine and GAP President Louis Clark were both quoted in a January 21 Davidson column on whether federal employees have a right to refuse to implement illegal orders - for example, with regard to the "Muslim Ban" Executive orders.  Read about that HERE.

On April 8, Tom will be speaking at a meeting of the DC Science Writer's Association as part of a program, "Techniques for Interviewing Anyone."
