Congratulations to Jonathan Smith, '84, Executive Director of the Legal Aid Society of DC, for winning the Meyer Foundation Exponent Award. Jon was recognized for his lifelong dedication to social justice, his effective leadership of the Legal Aid Society, his role in the creation of the DC Access to Justice Commission, his advocacy of public interest law tuition-remission, and his work with the DC Consortium of Legal Services Providers.
