Washington, DC—The University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DCSL) has earned yet another Top 10 ranking.

Through its robust clinic program, vast internship & externship options and the the Summer Public Interest Fellowship program, UDC-DCSL has garnered the #7 spot for its government & public interest job placement rate nationally.

"At UDC-DCSL, students take two required clinics and provide a minimum of 700 hours of legal services on behalf of vulnerable clients in addition to their required community service and the externships they undertake across the District and the region," Shelley Broderick, UDC-DCSL Dean, said. "It is no surprise that public interest and government employers jump at the chance to hire our well prepared and committed graduates. They are the best!"

This distinction adds to the list of other top rankings for UDC-DCSL. PreLaw Magazine ranked UDC-DCSL #8 in its "Best Schools for Public Interest" rankings and Princeton Review recently ranked UDC-DCSL #2 nationwide in the "Best Environment for Minority Students," "Most Diverse Faculty," and "Most Chosen By Older Students" categories. U.S. News & World Report's Best Law Schools 2016 also ranked UDC-DCSL second in diversity and seventh for clinical legal training in its rankings of 198 law schools fully accredited by the American Bar Association.
