Prof. Wade Henderson Looks Back On Civil Rights Legacy

Washington, DCIt's hard to imagine the civil rights movement without Professor Wade Henderson in a leadership role but at the end of 2016, it's something we'll have to face. He recently announced he was stepping down as President and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and The Leadership Conference Education Fund, after 20 years of excellent leadership.

Prof. Henderson, who is the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law's Joseph L. Rauh, Jr. Chair of Public Interest Law, looks back at his first experiences in the movement and his career in this heartwarming op-ed in the Washington Post.
