Washington, DC–Professor Susan Waysdorf spent her sabbatical in spring of 2008 working at the Pro Bono Project. After visiting New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina a few times, and watching Spike Lee's HBO Documentary When The Levees Broke she became focused on doing something helpful & meaningful in the city where so many were in desperate need of assistance.

Prof. Waysdorf explained her experience at the Pro Bono Project and what took her there in a post on their website, which you can read in full here.
