Washington, DC—University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law Professor Andrew Ferguson is considered by many to be the nation's authority on jury duty having penned the only book for jurors. That expertise was recently called on for a Washington Post article examining the possibility of untruthful jurors.

The article, which ran nationwide on the Associated Press wire, examined a recent case involving two Vanderbilt football players who were found guilty of raping an unconscious female student. The verdict, however, is now being reexamined as it was later determined the jury foreman 'had failed to disclose that he had been a victim of a sex crime.'
