Professor Lee quoted in New York Times

University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law Professor Phil Lee was quoted in the New York Times today in a story about Wesleyan University's recent drug issues and overdoses among several students. Professor Lee, who recently published a book on academic freedom at universities remarked on how universities, prior to the '60s, "mostly operated 'in loco parentis,' or in place of the parent, and felt a responsibility for their students’ moral character and development."
