U.S. News & World Report's Best Law Schools 2016 has ranked UDC David A. Clarke School of Law second in diversity and seventh for clinical legal training in its rankings of 198 law schools fully accredited by the American Bar Association.

This distinction comes on the heels of PreLaw Magazine (Winter 2015) giving UDC-DCSL an “A+” for diversity, and ranking it the second most diverse law school in the nation for students and faculty, and Princeton Review's Best 168 Law Schools: 2014 ranking UDC-DCSL in the top ten for Most Chosen by Older Students, Most Diverse Faculty, Best Environment for Minority Students and Most Liberal Students.
