Coast Guard's Judge Advocate General Kenny at UDC-DCSL

 On October 16th the UDC Veterans Legal Service Project (UDC-VLSP) hosted the Judge Advocate General (JAG) of the U.S. Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Fred Kenney. Rear Admiral Kenney was welcomed to UDC Law by Associate Dean Karen Forman and the UDC-VLSP President Mr. Caleb James, a 3L in the Evening Division. After socializing with UDC-VLSP membership over light refreshments, Rear Admiral Kenney presented on the unique regulatory missions of the Coast Guard and his experience before the Supreme Court before answering questions regarding Veterans and Military Law, Sexual Assault Prevention and Response, and Maritime Law. The session concluded with Rear Admiral Kenney providing career advice for young attorney's applying to the Coast Guard's JAG program.
