Prof. Ferguson Discusses Predictive Policing on KPCC

Professor Andrew Ferguson and Alhambra Police Chief Mark Yokoyama did an interview with KPCC Southern California Public Radio about PredPol, a tool used by the Los Angeles Police Department to predict and map where crime is likely to happen. Prof. Ferguson recently published a paper on prediction policing and possible 4th amendment issues in the Emory Law Journal, and worries that its use might lead to racial profiling and violations of the 4th Amendment.
