Erin O'Neill '09, Analyst with the City of San Jose Office of the Independent Police Auditor

Erin O'Neill '09 is now an Analyst with the City of San Jose Office of the Independent Police Auditor (IPA). She joined IPA in September 2012 and has a passion for public service and public interest law. Erin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, and received a J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law in Washington, D.C. She spent her summers as an intern and research clerk at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. While in college, Erin studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, and taught English in Buenos Aires, Argentina after graduation. Erin is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish. Most recently, Erin gained extensive experience in Cybercrime Security and Compliance while working for the Legal Department at Yahoo!. In that role, Erin testified on behalf of Yahoo! in criminal matters at the state and federal level.
