UDC-DCSL Ranked Top Ten for Clinics by US News & World Report

US News & World Report awarded UDC-DCSL a top ten ranking for outstanding clinical programs in 2014 of 188 ABA accredited law schools analyzed. In its annual Best Law Schools analysis, US News & World Report ranked UDC-DCSL's clinical program well above numerous well-heeled and prestigious law schools, including Harvard and Columbia.

Clinics are the signature focus of UDC-DCSL's legal education. We offer 8 clinics, and students are required to provide 700 hours of clinical service to low-income residents of the District of Columbia. Through the clinics, in combination with the Summer Fellowship Program and the first year Community Service Program, DCSL students provide over 100,000 hours of free legal assistance each year!

Tuition at UDC-DCSL remains the least expensive of the top ten clinical law schools in keeping with its mission to educate students for careers in public interest, public service and public policy law. Keeping tuition affordable allows UDC-DCSL students to enter those practice areas unburdened by crushing student loans.
