It was so refreshing to spend time last evening at the PAD Resume
Workshop with law students who know how The David A. Clarke School of Law fits into
their career plans, and who already have great career experience! Since graduating from DCSL in 1996, I have come across far too many law
students attending the so-called top-notch law schools who don’t really know what type of
law careers they want to pursue or don’t seem to embody any actual passion for a
career in law. The students at UDC-DCSL
do demonstrate that passion by what they have already done in life, by having a plan to get where they want to go,
and by choosing a law school designed to get them where they want to be -- and
choosing a law school that is very affordable, so that they can do what they want
afterwards without being crippled by debt.
