On January 30, 2013, the Office of Career and Professional Development sponsored an alumni panel on careers in legislation. The panel featured Suzanne Beall '08, the Federal Legislative Director for the National Association of Home Builders, specializing in trade, immigration reform, and other labor policies. The panel also featured Garrett King '11, the Director of the D.C. City Council's Committee on Aging and Community Affairs, providing legislative and legal advice to assist Chairman of the Committee on Aging and Community Affairs in executing legislative agenda.
