Wade Henderson, President and CEO of The Leadership Conference and the Joseph L. Rauh, Jr. Chair of Public Interest Law, published an editorial on CNN arguing that Republicans need to rebrand their party in the image of President Lincoln.

 Henderson writes, "While the GOP has increasingly promoted diverse candidates, it has not yet begun to reflect the values of our diverse nation. Fiscally conservative officeholders can fight for civil and human rights."
