Congratulations to Dennis Vachon '86 who will become the new Strafford County Registrar of Deeds in New Hampshire.
Vachon,
a Democrat and resident of Strafford, told Foster’s Daily Democrat he was running for
the post because of his long record of public service, said the position
fits well with his background as an attorney and licensed real estate
broker.
"My legal experience will be especially helpful at the
registry, which oversees the county’s land records office where deeds,
mortgages and plans are filed.”
In a statement issued by Vachon, his background was explained as providing solid experience for the position.
During his 10 years in the New Hampshire House, Vachon served on the Commerce Committee and the Committee on Ways and Means. As a member of the Strafford County Delegation, he also served on the General Government Subcommittee, which oversees the operations of the Registry of Deeds.
