Prince George's County Board of Education Chairwoman Verjeana Jacobs, '96, was quoted in The Washington Post on a school board member resigning from office.
School board member Rosalind Johnson resigned after The Washington Post found she had moved outside her district while serving in the elected position, which violates Maryland law.
Jacobs said Tuesday that the board is consulting with its attorney, its
legislative liaison and the state Board of Elections to determine the
next steps.
