On August 27, 2012, the Student Bar Association organized a Judicial Clerkship Panel offering advice for applying to law clerk positions. The Honorable Gregory Jackson, an Associate Judge at D.C. Superior Court spoke about the importance of the cover letter in any application. Jennifer Keen, a law clerk to the Honorable John McCabe at D.C. Superior Court, said networking will help a law clerk application stand out from the rest. Christopher Stuart, a former law clerk in Prince George's County, likened clerking to a 4th year of law school. And Brec Cooke, '11 alum and a law clerk to the Honorable Milton Lee, said a clerkship is the best place to learn about the courthouse. View photos from the event below.
