Bruce French '75, New Interim Clinic Director at Pettit College of Law

Professor Bruce French '75 has agreed to serve as Interim Director of Clinical Programs at Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law. His appointment is effective immediately.

Prior to joining the faculty at Pettit College of Law French had been legislative counsel for the Council of the District of Columbia. He has lectured at Catholic University and the University of Maryland College of Law. Professor French writes frequently on labor relations, legislative drafting and interpretation, and environmental matters. In addition to teaching and research, he has served as a member of the Allen County Bar Certified Grievance Committee, as chair of the section on Uniform State Laws of the Ohio State Bar Association, as a trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Northern District of Ohio, and on the ABA Criminal Justice Section Committee on Rules of Criminal Procedure and Evidence. He engages in occasional employment discrimination and civil rights litigation.
