Find Postings

The Career Center is a great place to find potential candidates, post your openings, search openings and subscribe to new posting notifications.

FOR EMPLOYERS:

Please submit your job openings and networking events using our Post an Opening Form. Your participation is governed by the Office of Career and Professional Development Job Posting Policy, below.

The UDC School of Law is delighted to work with you to recruit our students. Whether your organization is large or small, local or distant, public interest or private, we are your partner in publicizing an opportunity, collecting resumes, and meeting with our students on our campus. Please contact Dena Bauman at 202-274-5722 or at dbauman@udc.edu if you would like more information on how we can best help you meet your recruiting needs.

You may also wish to register for our website. Registration as an Employer will allow you to manage your job posts, accept applications online through your account, search student and alumni resumes, and receive career related announcements from the School. In order to protect our students, we will have to approve your registration.

FOR STUDENTS AND ALUMNI:

You must sign into the website in order to view positions posted in the Career Center. You can also post your resume and subscribe to receive notifications when new positions are added. You can select whether your resume is viewable by registered employers, alumni and students or only by the Office of Career and Professional Development.

Once you are signed in, additional option buttons will appear in the Career Center menu above.

FOR STUDENTS AT OTHER SCHOOLS:

The School of Law participates in the Intercollegiate Job Bank hosted by the Brigham Young Law School. Career service offices from more than 100 law schools share job postings through this resource. Students and graduates from other law schools need to check with their own law school to find out if it is a member.

UDC-DCSL also offers reciprocity to students and graduates of other law schools. Please see our Reciprocity Statement.

Job listings are not available other than through these two services.

OFFICE OF CAREER SERVICES JOB POSTING POLICY

The University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DCSL) is the public law school of the District of Columbia, whose dual mission is to admit, educate and graduate students from communities underrepresented at the bar, and to serve the public interest. The UDC-DCSL Office of Career Services (OCS) posts job notices to students and alumni as a service to them and the employers. In keeping with the School of Law’s mission, OCS gives priority to listings from UDC-DCSL students and alumni, as well as faculty and staff, public interest and minority organizations, and positions in metropolitan Washington DC. OCS does not publish requests from individuals or organizations seeking representation in a legal matter. OCS does not check, validate or guarantee the accuracy of the information presented, nor does it make any representations, endorsements about the nature of the work, the background or the reputation of the employer. Potential applicants are advised and encouraged to research with care employers and employment opportunities presented on this website and through all sources. Ms. Bauman is available to help UDC students and alumni with that process.

Non-Discrimination Policy: The School of Law prohibits unlawful discrimination, including that based on actual or perceived: race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, personal appearance, sexual orientation, family responsibilities, disability, matriculation, or political affiliation of any individual. In accordance with this policy, the OCS facilities, services and programs are available only to employers whose practices are consistent and in agreement with this policy. The sole exception to the non-discrimination policy is granted to representatives of the U.S. Department of Defense. View the School of Law's complete Tolerance Statement (.pdf).
