The University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC Law) will host its 2018 Annual Gala on Wednesday, June 6th at the Grand Hyatt Washington hotel. The event will showcase UDC Law’s nationally recognized clinical program and the big impact that the DC’s only public law school has on the community. In addition, Tony West, Chief Legal Officer of Uber, and the outgoing dean of UDC Law, Shelley Broderick, will be honored for their outstanding commitment and service to the public interest, diversity and justice.

The Gala is a fundraiser for the school’s Summer Public Interest Fellowship Program and Scholarship Funds. Last year, the Gala—UDC Law’s first-ever major fundraising event—raised more than $400,000. See the recap of the event here.
